Where to Start
Everyone has had a
first day, so don't worry about a thing. You're here to have fun, get fit and learn something new, empowering
and expressive.
There are several classes that are set up just for the introductory level:

The World of BellyDance 2) Bellydance Level -1 and Bellydance Level 1.5 (choreography) 3) Bellyrobics 4) Bollywood
The World of BellyDance changes each class session to look at a new aspect
of what falls under the umbrella term, bellydance. One day you'll work with veils, the next one will have zills
(finger cymbals) or Egyptian Cabaret, or bollywood, etc. This exposes you to all the areas you can persue, and
the variety makes it a lot of fun!
BellyDance level -1 focuses on learning the
movements and understanding what bellydance is- it's history, it's current place in art, entertainment and fitness
and all the fundamental things you need to know. Sometimes it will include learning a full dance number with veils,
other times its focus will be on various combos.
Bellyrobics is for fun and fitness.
This class is focused on getting the heart rate to a fat-burning level using bellydance moves.
Bollywood
is also high energy, with music that is unique and absolutely exhilarating! This is a choreography class, so you'll
learn a full dance number during the first session.
